Nature is Awesome!

Been awhile since I posted one of these (nature you might-not-know-abouts), so here - have an amazing striped rabbit!

Found in Laos with only a few sightings ever (but an actual specimen as well!)

Check out some more info here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/422674.stm

(And because I can't resist... Sparklerabbit!)

That critter is CUTE, those are some awesome markings.

That is really neat that they're discovering all these new species, I hope it isn't too late for the recently found. Or on the flip side, that the knowledge that they -do- exist doesn't endanger them.

That's pretty cool! :)

But imagine how many species of different animals may have got extinct before they even get discovered.. Yet new ones get found then and then. And also a few creatures that originally were -thought- was extinct could be found, too, like some kind of dwarf mouse or whatever it was now again. :p I've even read rumors and such about the Thylacine... Although those being a rather bit odd.
